Very Fine 19th Century Exhibition Quality Library Table

This exhibition quality table is made of some quite spectacular exotic timbers including solid rosewood for the top, legs and even the drawer linings! The drawer fronts are made of a very fine cut of satinwood and the panels are inlaid with coromandel. The dovetails and joints are very precise and the handles are especially fine as are the caster cups. The casters themselves are very useful if you need to move it around your library/drawing room/entrance hall/museum because it is extremely heavy indeed. It is totally freestanding with two real drawers and four false ones! For sale now at a price which is likely to be less than the value of the timber used to make it.
