The Fine Art Fund was set up in 2024 as a new source of antique furniture, fine art and other interesting or unusual pieces from the 17th 18th and early 19th centuries.  

Theo and Simon formed The Fine Art Fund to combine their shared knowledge of property, antiques, and interiors. The intention to procure antiques which are not only practical and useful but also pieces of fine design, of excellent construction, or made of unusual or interesting timber. They search for pieces which by virtue of their bold design and decoration, impose on a room a sense of charm, substance, drama, or opulence and make an interior a more fun and enjoyable place to be in.  

With this as a guideline, Theo and Simon are constantly continuing to carefully compile a collection of special items which are of a standard that will bring pleasure to the owner on a daily basis and perhaps demand a closer look, or even inspire a conversation with family, friends or guests like.  

The other founding principle is the idea that fine furniture does not have to be prohibitively expensive. By sourcing and pricing with the trade buyer in mind, each item in the collection offers excellent value and quality. 

Theo has a BA (hons) degree in fine art and chattels valuation and has been in the antiques trade for over thirty years. Simon is a BA.MA.MRICS chartered surveyor with over forty years’ experience in the commercial and residential property markets.
